The Chicago Theater
State Street

Called the "Wonder Theater of the World" when it opened in 1921, the Chicago Theater still hosts top performers today. The theater is seen here during a snowfall in February 2007.

I went to the Chicago theatre with My Mother back in Febuary of 1983.
Chicago mayor Jane Byrne was running a series of festivals and live shows called "Loop Alive".
Me and My Mother went to the theatre to see Englebert Humperdinck perform there. Englebert Humperdinck put on a great show, but his very foul mouthed and obnoxious opening act commedian could have been done without. He was very Rude to the audience...and not the least bit funny or intelegent. My advice to him, is to check out Career Builder.com.

Thank You.
Eddie.
